You Choose Savings Your Way
What is the Low-Income Weatherization Program?
Oncor provides incentives to participating service providers for implementing energy-saving improvements in qualifying homes. These upgrades are low or no cost to the residential customers. Oncor's programs typically run from January through November on an annual basis.
Due to the popularity of the program, there may be some contractors who have reached their funding limits for 2018.
Before you get started, we want to make sure you qualify.
Low-Income Weatherization Qualifications:
Incentives cover all weatherization projects for qualifying customers. Homes must have Oncor as their electric delivery provider. Residential customers have an annual household income at or below 200 percent above the federal poverty guidelines. See chart below to see if you qualify.
|Size of Family Unit||200% of HHS Poverty Guidelines|
|Annual Income||Monthly Income||Weekly Income|
Notice: Income ceilings must be calculated based on the federal poverty guidelines as published annually in the Federal Register. Annual updated income ceilings are posted on www.puc.state.tx.us.
