Even pint-size Texans can learn to save energy. Bring your little ones to the Take A Load Off, Texas® Kids exhibit at the Dogwood Trail Festival to learn how to be energy efficient. Following a quick educational session, your child can put his or her new skills to practice inside a playhouse where kids “install” mock materials representing weather-stripping, insulation and caulk.
Oncor's Take A Load Off, Texas is a consumer outreach program designed to educate Oncor's residential and commercial consumers about energy efficiency and the measures they can take to conserve. Take A Load Off, Texas travels throughout Oncor's service area with exhibits and information on items such as lighting, solar power, appliances, air-conditioning units and insulation.
